Four Months!!!

16 Weeks Pregnant!!!

Well, I am almost halfway done!!! Time is going by really fast! I am still feeling really good and have a lot of energy. As you can see, I am starting to get a bump and almost all of my pants now are being fastened by a hair tie. Fun! Fun! I am driving Jason crazy by talking about getting fat, and he shakes his head and says...YOUR PREGNANT!! He of course tells me I am not fat and that I am Beautiful...he is so sweet :)

We had another Doctor's appointment this past week, and we heard the heartbeat again. It was much louder and we also got to hear a kick from our little peanut. I constantly try to sit really still and feel him/her, but nothing yet. Sometimes I think I feel something, but I just don't think it is strong enough yet for me to be sure.

We have out first Ultra Sound on June 7th...when we get back from vacation in Florida. They will try to see what we are having and we can hardly wait to find out if there will be a little Tiffany or Jason in our lives.

Jason, Baby and I have been busy...we have done a lot this month. We have enjoyed some sun on our deck, a Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert (baby loves country), Komets hockey game, many walks, some yummy food, and now we are headed to Florida for a week!!!
We all are looking forward to a vacation...Pics to follow!!!
Stay tuned!!!

Some Crafty Artwork

Well I have been busy doing some projects lately but not good about posting them...but here is my latest!

We have very high ceilings in out entryway and I have been wanting to put something on my bare cream walls. While looking at Pinterest I saw a blog that used scrap book paper on pieces of wood to make artwork. I thought canvas would work the same, so I took my 40% off coupon to Michaels and picked up a seven pack of 12 by 12 square canvas.

It is SUPER simple and could work in any room.

Of course it took me a while to pick out my paper...because there are sooooooo many choices!!! Once I had my scrap book pages I chose a paint color that complimented them and painted the edges of the white canvas. (Yes I used my mixing bowls as drying racks)

Once dry I put a glob of modge podge and spread it out evenly on the canvas.

I then put the scrap book paper on the canvas and smoothed it out. As you can see, the paper wrinkled but I liked that way that it turned out. If you don't like the way that looks, use less Modge Podge....I tend to always think more is better!

I let them dry overnight and then spread a little watered down paint on the edges to smooth out the transition from the paper to canvas. I also put a thin layer of Modge Podge over the front of the paper too. It gives it a little sheen. As you see below I completed six of these and hung them up using Command strips so I didn't have to add more holes to the walls.

Now I need to find an entry table and new rug and I can reveal the entry way makeover.
Stay tuned!!!
